2.6 psp(need help)

Im not sure whether this is the right section so feel free to move it to a right one.

i have 2 friends who have a 2.6 fw psp. they have came to me to help them downgrade it to 1.5. but the problem is i do not have a GTA: LCS UMD. so i was wondering if it is possible to update their fw to 2.71 den downgrade it frm there.

i dont know,there is a new program out which tricks the psp into 1.5 and you do not have to downgrade it. i will upload it if im allowed and if i find it.

yeah, update to 2.71 then easy downgrade from there, then of course reup 'em to 3.02 OE-A then upgrade to OE-B and voila you're done :D

thx... but the prob is i dun have any umd that allows me to update to 2.71, could anyone tell me a UMD that require 2.71?

Venom, please read site updates about site linking, its clearly visable.

As for downgrading, bio, if u go to the download section in PSP/applications there is an easy 2.71 downgrader that has the 2.71 update and a step by step audio/visual guide as u go along. That should do the trick. :icon_tup:
